Unique Collaborations on Stage and in the Field
The blues and Dolly’s hits go symphonic, while Berkely Rep hits the field.

Approaching the dog days of summer, we can’t think of a better way to break free from the monotony than with a handful of truly special collaborations. Tonight, SF Symphony fans get the chance to witness the emotional power of Morgan Freeman’s Symphonic Blues Experience, followed next Friday by new takes on some of country music’s greatest hits with Dolly Parton’s Threads.
Meanwhile, August is just around the corner, and a new month brings a whole new set of free and accessible performances. August also features one of the most exciting combinations we’ve seen yet: Berkeley Rep and the Oakland Ballers take the stage on August 9, uniting baseball and theater for one special night.
