Boundless opportunities with Artist Trust
The Puget Sound’s weekly roundup of arts, culture, and community | October 9 to 15, 2026
Has the art you’ve been seeing on the stage inspired you? Need an outlet for all that creativity? Want to see how art runs this town? Tired of answering “yes” to all my questions? Then let’s move on. Artist Trust has a lineup of opportunities this Fall ranging from participation in their organization to grant openings.
Since 1986, Artist Trust has supported artists of all disciplines across Washington State through funding, programs and connection. For those who are professional artists, the Fellowship Awards is now open for applications. Open to all disciplines, this merit-based award includes a $10,000 prize. Additionally, the Benefit Art Auction is taking submissions. Hurry and get your work in as the deadline is October 16. Next are upcoming programs and workshops that can offer you support with grant writing and business basics.
For something entirely different, Artist Trust also has open applications for a position on the Board of Trustees. If your active art days are over, or you’re more of an appreciator of the form, then this is a way to get involved without putting your work on display. This and all other opportuinties are available on Artist Trust’s website. — Ciara
