This weekend, the Bay Area’s stages are rolling out the welcome mat for everyone. On Saturday, October 4, Shucked at BroadwaySF serves up small-town chaos with ASL interpretation—corn comedy at its fullest. On the same day, the Paris Opera Ballet: Red Carpet lands at Cal Performances with audio description, so every explosive leap and sly gesture is fully in view. Meanwhile, Kim’s Convenience at American Conservatory Theater brings family laughs and charm with open captions at the matinee—because no witty line should go unseen.

Sunday keeps the fun going. Little Women at TheatreWorks Silicon Valley offers an audio-described matinee, letting the March sisters’ triumphs and tumbles play out for everyone. With dance, comedy, and classic storytelling all made accessible, the weekend’s lineup proves that live performance is at its best when no one is left out of the story.
