A Note From Seattle Theatre Group
On behalf of Seattle Theatre Group’s staff, board, and volunteers, welcome to the historic Paramount Theatre for this performance of & Juliet! This hilarious new musical flips the script on the greatest love story ever told, empowering Juliet to imagine new possibilities for herself beyond her love affair with Romeo. Anchored by the music of Swedish pop songwriting sensation Max Martin, this show’s Pacific Northwest debut is a perfect pairing with our vibrant Seattle summer! & Juliet is the finale to our Broadway at The Paramount season, and we are grateful to you for joining us for another fabulous year of touring Broadway’s best talent and storytelling.
STG is excited to begin another exceptional year of Broadway shows with our fast-approaching 2025/26 season! In line with our organizational mission to create memorable arts experiences for everyone, we are committed to curating a Broadway lineup featuring new and innovative productions alongside standout legacy favorites. Our season features six new shows at The Paramount Theatre for 2025/26—including Some Like It Hot; the 2024 Tony Award-winning Best Play Stereophonic, launching its national tour on our stage; the 2024 Tony Award-winning Best Musical Shucked; A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical; The Notebook; and Hell’s Kitchen, featuring the music of Alicia Keys. Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, and Disney’s The Lion King all return to Seattle, with a special Sensory Friendly performance of The Lion King on Sunday, December 13.

STG venues use r.Cup, a reuse system for drinkware. r.Cups are permitted in the Paramount auditorium; please return your cups to the yellow bins in the lobby following the performance and before you leave the venue. Drinking fountains are on all levels.

RACHEL WEBB (Juliet), a multi-hyphenate actress from Dallas, Texas. Prior to leading the & Juliet tour, Rachel understudied the role in the Original Broadway Cast. She did a brief stint as a featured vocalist on tour with Kristin Chenoweth in For The Girls, and spent much of her time performing at the Meyerson Symphony Center and Riverfront Jazz Festival in Dallas. MAX MARTIN (Music & Lyrics/Producer). Along with various collaborators, Max has created some of the biggest hits that span over two and a half decades. His musical awards include The Polar Music Prize, five Grammy Awards (including Producer of the Year) and the ASCAP Songwriter of the Year, which he was awarded 11 times. A prolific songwriter, he is only second to Paul McCartney with number one U.S. singles. Most recently he was inducted in the Songwriters Hall of Fame. & Juliet is his first musical production. Max is not just a musical collaborator with his extensive catalog, but serves as producer overseeing all aspects of the development.
DAVID WEST READ (Book) is an Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning and Tony-nomi-nated writer and producer. He is the creator and showrunner of the Apple TV+ series “The Big Door Prize,” as well as an upcoming Apple TV+ comedy series that re-teams Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. He previously served as a writer and executive producer of the critically acclaimed TV series “Schitt’s Creek.” Other works includes the new Roy Orbison musical In Dreams, the Broadway comedy The Performers and the Off-Broadway drama The Dream of the Burning Boy (Outer Critics and Drama League nominations). David is a graduate of the Juilliard School and NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
