MATTHEW LÓPEZ (Book) was nominated for a Tony Award and won a Drama Desk for his work on Some Like It Hot. He is the author of The Inheritance, which won the Tony, Olivier, Drama Desk, Evening Standard, Outer Critics Circle, London Critics Circle and GLAAD Media awards for Best Play. He wrote and directed the Amazon Prime feature “Red, White and Royal Blue,” for which he was nominated for an Emmy Award.

AMBER RUFFIN (Book) is an Emmy and WGA award-nominated writer and performer for NBC’s “Late Night With Seth Meyers” and “The Amber Ruffin Show.” She wrote and performed on Comedy Central’s “Detroiters” and was a regular narrator on “Drunk History.” She also wrote on “A Black Lady Sketch Show.” Ruffin is a New York Times bestselling author, along with her sister Lacey Lamar, of You’ll Never Believe What Happened to Lacey: Crazy Stories of Racism. She wrote the most recent Broadway production of The Wiz.

CASEY NICHOLAW (Director and Choreographer). Two-time Tony Award winning director-choreographer, Casey Nicholaw, is represented on Broadway as director/choreographer of Disney’s Aladdin (Tony and Drama Desk nominations Best Choreography), and co-director and choreographer of The Book of Mormon (Tony and Drama Desk awards Best Co-Director, nominations in the same categories Best Choreography); Olivier Award winner Best Choreography. Other Broadway credits as director/choreographer: Some Like It Hot (Tony and Drama Desk awards Best Choreography, Tony nomination Best Direction), The Prom (Tony nomination Best Direction), Mean Girls (Tony nominations Best Direction and Choreography), Tuck Everlasting, Something Rotten! (Tony and Drama Desk nominations Best Direction and Choreography), Elf: The Musical, The Drowsy Chaperone (Tony and Drama Desk nominations Best Direction and Choreography), Monty Python’s Spamalot directed by Mike Nichols (Tony and Drama Desk nominations Best Choreography). Represented on London’s West End as director/choreographer of Mean Girls, and co-director/choreographer of The Book of Mormon. Next spring he will direct and choreograph Disney’s Hercules on the West End.
