Bay Area Fall Performances: From Ballet to Bold Stories

This fall, the Bay Area’s stages and concert halls are buzzing with variety. Cal Performances kicks off their 120th season with a collaboration between Yo-Yo Ma and Angélique Kidjo, followed by the North American premiere of Hofesh Shechter’s new work for the Paris Opera Ballet at Zellerbach Hall.

Music lovers can look forward to the San Francisco Symphony presenting James Gaffigan as he conducts a collection by George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, and Carlos Simon. Meanwhile, A.C.T. continues to offer bold theatrical programming, opening their season with the hilarious and heartwarming Kim's Convenience.
