CAST

GRACE ABWAO, (Count Gregory, Ensemble) is thrilled to be part of her second Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE production! Her journey with KIDSTAGE began last summer with Chicago: Teen Edition, and she's so happy to be performing here once again.

PAUL ABWAO, (Vlad, u/s Dmitry) is so excited to be a part of the cast of Anastasia: The Musical! Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE credits: Peter in Jesus Christ Superstar in Concert, and Carlos/Grand Master Chad in Legally Blonde: The Musical. Professional Credit: Harvey Johnson in Bye Bye Birdie (The 5th Avenue Theatre). Other Credits: Pippin in Pippin (Ballyhoo Theatre), Nick Bottom in Something Rotten.

JULIANNA ARMSTRONG, she/her (Ensemble) is so excited to be in Anastasia: The Musical! She has previously acted as Ensemble in Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 in Concert (Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE), as well as Anna in Disney’s Frozen JR. (Taproot Theatre) and Wickersham 2 in Seussical the Musical (Broadway Bound Children's Theatre). She wants to thank her family for always supporting her and helping her childhood dream of being in Anastasia come true.

VERONA BONTRAGER, (Ensemble, Vocal Captain) is so excited to be in her first official production at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE. However, she has been in many shows outside of KIDSTAGE; highlights include: Juror #4 in 12 Angry Jurors, Mary in The Secret Garden, and Mary Poppins in Disney’s Mary Poppins. She gives all the praise to God for giving her the opportunity for more theater and would like to thank her family and friends for all the support. Enjoy the show!

ANNIE BURLEY, she/her (Ensemble) is so excited to be a part of her first Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE production! She wants to thank her parents for their endless support, she would not have done this show without them. Enjoy the show!

LILY CARSON, she/they (Countess Gregory, Ensemble, Vocal Captain) is very excited to make her Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE debut! Outside of theater, she sings and plays piano for her college jazz choir, Soundsation. Credits include: Liesl in The Sound of Music, Annie (Ballyhoo Theatre and Seattle Performers), Disney’s Frozen (Kitsap Forest Theater), and Seussical the Musical (Ballyhoo Theatre). She would like to thank her siblings for their endless love and fun!

CARMEN CERDA, she/her (Swan Lake Dancer, Ensemble) is so excited to make her Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE debut. Though she hasn’t acted in this program, she has at her local theater (Whidbey Children’s Theater). Her favorite past shows include: Katherine in Disney’s Newsies, Alice in The Addams Family, and Fiona in Shrek the Musical. Carmen is thoroughly grateful for her wonderful cast and production team for the support, kindness, and hard work!

LILY CERDA, she/they (Swan Lake Dancer, Ensemble). Anastasia: The Musical is Lily’s first show at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE and she is honored to be part of the KIDSTAGE family! Some of her favorite past roles include: Morticia Addams in The Addams Family, Medda/Newsie in Disney’s Newsies JR., and Sophie Scholl in Antigone in Munich. Lily would like to thank the wonderful production team for all of their incredible efforts to bring this show to life.

BEATRICE CRAMER, she/her (Swan Lake Dancer, Ensemble, Vocal Captain) is thrilled to be returning to Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE! Recent theater highlights include: Ensemble in Jesus Christ Superstar (The 5th Avenue Theatre’s Rising Star Project), Annie in Annie (Ballyhoo Theatre and Seattle’s Performers), and Sharpay Evans in Disney’s High School Musical JR. in Concert (KIDSTAGE). JAYDEN DAVIS, (Gleb Vaganov) is very grateful to return to Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE after playing Cinderella’s Prince and the Wolf in Into the Woods. Other past roles include Ensemble in Pippin, Ensemble in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Ballyhoo Theatre); Horton the Elephant in Seussical: The Musical (Broadway Bound Children’s Theatre); and Mr. Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors. He would like to thank his friends and family for all the support.

MARCIE FREUND, he/him (Ensemble) is excited to do their first show at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE Everett! Previously having performed at KIDSTAGE Issaquah, Marcie is excited to broaden their horizons and perform in new environments with new people and audiences! Marcie was also the music director for Next to Normal (Everrise Theatre Company) and recently played King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar (The 5th Avenue Theatre’s Rising Star Project).

OLIVIA GREANY, she/her (Tsarina Alexandra Fyodorovna, Ensemble) is delighted to make her debut with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE in Anastasia: The Musical. Some previous credits include Mrs. Potts in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and Grace Farrell in Annie. She is grateful to get to bring this story to life alongside such a wonderful company. She extends heartfelt thanks to her family, friends, teachers, and everyone who has supported her throughout her journey.

SAM HANSON, (Ensemble) is excited to be in his first musical with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE! This is also his first time in an ensemble role. Previous roles include: Wiesel in Disney’s Newsies, Mayor Shinn in The Music Man, Edward Markley in Radium Girls, and Mike in Freaky Friday. Sam is excited to be in this show with this talented cast. He would like to dedicate this to his parents and close friends who continue to encourage and support him.

ELLA HEINER, she/her (Anya) is so beyond excited to be a part of this production. Some of her previous roles at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE include: Roxie Hart in Chicago: Teen Edition, Pontius Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar In Concert, and Kate/Ensemble in Legally Blonde: The Musical. She could not be more happy and grateful to have been given the opportunity to work with this team and this cast. She would like to profusely thank her friends, and her parents for supporting her.

ALEXANDER HERNANDEZ, he/him (Dmitry Sudayev) is thrilled to be back working with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE! Some recent productions at KIDSTAGE include Legally Blonde: The Musical and Guys and Dolls! Projects elsewhere include A Streetcar Named Desire (Western Washington University) and Bye Bye Birdie (The 5th Avenue Theatre). He dedicates his work toward his mom, who always pushes him to work his hardest!

BRITTA JORGENSEN, she/her (Swan Lake Dancer, Ensemble, u/s Dowager) is excited to be in her first ever Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE production! Some of her favorite roles include Marian Paroo in The Music Man, Katherine Plumber in Disney's Newsies, and Ariel in Disney’s The Little Mermaid. She is currently studying vocal performance in university and would like to thank her parents for supporting her all throughout her theater journey!

INGE JORGENSEN, (Olga Romanov, Swan Lake Dancer, Ensemble) is thrilled to take part in her second Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE production, the first being Disney's Descendants: The Musical as Maurice. Additional favorite roles have been: Ethel Toffelmier in The Music Man, Francis Flute in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and most recently, Ellie Blake in Freaky Friday: A New Musical. Inge is grateful to all the amazing people who helped her fall in love with theater, especially her family who have always supported her.

GLORIA KINYANJUI, she/her (Ensemble) is very excited to be in her first Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE production. She is in the ensemble and is very grateful for the opportunity to work with such incredibly talented students and staff. She would like to thank Caroline, Salome, Gabriel, Zach, Diala and Dillon for their support; it means the world to her.

ADELAIDE LARAMY, they/them (Swan Lake Dancer, Ensemble). After nine years of participating in Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE productions, they’re excited to be performing in their final show. Their favorite KIDSTAGE shows include: Chicago: Teen Edition (Choreographer), Legally Blonde: The Musical (Emmett), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Gaston). They want to thank everyone at KIDSTAGE for making the last nine years so impactful.

SEDONA SCOTT LARSEN, she/her (Dunya, Tatiana Romanov, Ensemble) is thrilled to be making her debut in her first Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE production. Her most recent performances consist of Juliet in William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet (Applause Studio) and Annie in Chicago: Teen Edition at her local high school. Her offstage work consists of playwriting and working towards a career in performing arts education. Special thank you to her little sister, Rooie.

WILL LEMCIO, he/him (Gorlinsky, Sergei, Ensemble) is super excited to perform in his fourth SummerStock production with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE (in a musical he's been wanting to be in for years)! Previous KIDSTAGE credits include: Rapunzel's Prince and u/s Baker in Into the Woods, Ensemble in Guys and Dolls, Seitz/Bill in Disney's Newsies, and Ensemble in School of Rock. ADRIAN LEWINSOHN,, he/him (Count Ipolitov, Ensemble, u/s Vlad) is super excited to be a part of Anastasia: The Musical! Some recent roles include Hans in Disney’s Frozen and Fred Casely in Chicago: Teen Edition. He wants to thank his wonderful family and friends for the constant love and support and hopes everyone enjoys the show!

JACK LEWIS, he/him (Count Leopold, Ensemble) is thrilled to be a part of Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE production of Anastasia: The Musical! His previous KIDSTAGE experiences include Claquesous in Les Misérables: School Edition and the Steward in Into the Woods. He has been a participant in Village Theatre Institute in Everett for two years. Other credits include student-written Left Hand Man as Jet and in his school’s production of Damn Yankees. He wants to thank his friends, family, and director for their support.

MILANIA MENDOZA, she/her (Ensemble) is thrilled to be in Anastasia: The Musical! Milania has trained at Village Theatre Institute and performed in Disney's High School Musical JR. in Concert. She appeared in the films Beautiful Bombshells and The Phenomenal Funeral of Frankie Phillips, directed by Brent Steiner. When she's not performing, she enjoys playing basketball, cheerleading, and playing her violin. Milania would like to thank her friends and family who have supported her. Enjoy the show!

KASSIE MONTGOMERY, she/her (Marfa, Ensemble, u/s Lily) is thrilled to be making her musical theater stage debut with Anastasia: The Musical. She has previously performed as a vocalist in Vocalpoint! Seattle. Offstage, Kassie can be found at school in the heart of Chicago and loves being immersed in the lively theatre and music culture. She is eternally grateful for her family and friends for their endless support and love.

EVIE MORK, she/her (Swan Lake Dancer, Ensemble) is so excited for her fifth Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE show and her first SummerStock production. She also has had lots of fun in her school musicals as Middle Elsa in Disney’s Frozen JR. and Arista in Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR. Outside of all the rehearsals, she enjoys her Village Theatre Institute class, dance classes, and hanging out with her friends. Thank you to her family for the endless support. Enjoy the show!

MADDISON NEED, she/her (Ensemble) is thrilled to be performing in her second Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE musical. She's so thankful to be part of Anastasia: The Musical while getting to spend time with friends both old and new. She hopes everyone enjoys the show!

SLOANE PEARCE, (Ensemble) is thrilled to join the cast of Anastasia: The Musical. She previously appeared in Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE productions including Les Misérables: School Edition and Into the Woods, and most recently had a lead role in her final high‑school show, Freaky Friday. She’s been singing and dressing up in costumes since she was little, and she’s grateful for every chance to bring stories to life onstage.

ALVIN SMITH, he/him (Ensemble) has performed in six Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE productions. Featured roles include Lord Farquaad in Shrek the Musical JR. and Cinderella’s Father in Into the Woods. Additional credits include Eddie in Mamma Mia! and Von Sochocky/Markley in Radium Girls. Alvin loves the creativity and teamwork that come with every show. Outside of theater, he enjoys playing guitar, drums, and performing in his band, PULE.

BEATRICE SUMMERS, she/her (Young Anastasia, Swan Lake Dancer, Ensemble) is thrilled to be back for her second Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE show after playing Coach Bolton and Cheerleader in Disney's High School Musical JR. In Concert. She has trained with Olympic Ballet for many years and has performed in Giselle, Coppelia, and several productions of The Nutcracker. Thanks to Mom, Dad, and Dorothy for their support throughout rehearsals and always!

VIVI THOMAS, she/her (Paulina, Ensemble) is so excited to be doing her second summer production with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE! She has previously worked with KIDSTAGE as Sleeping Beauty in Into the Woods, and Mona in Chicago: Teen Edition. Coming from a strict dance-only background, she has also worked with companies like ARC Dance, Coffee Dance Studio, and most recently with The 5th Avenue Theatre’s Rising Star Production of Jesus Christ Superstar as the Choreographer Mentee.

SEBASTIAN BARRON TUCKER, he/him (Tsar Nicholas II, Ensemble) is thrilled to be making his Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE debut. In his eight years of doing musical theater, his favorite roles include Shrek in Shrek the Musical, Mal Beineke in The Addams Family, and Gleb in Anastasia: The Musical. Outside of theater, Sebastian enjoys making music and spending time with friends. His favorite part of KIDSTAGE has been getting to work with such an amazing community.

MAIA VAZQUEZ, (Lily, Dance Captain) is beyond thrilled to be in this show! She wants to thank her lovely family and friends for always supporting her dreams and passions. And an extra special thank you to all her educators at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE for pushing her in every way! MADELINE WILLIAMS, she/her (Dowager, u/s Anya) is excited to be a part of this wonderful show! She has previously been seen as The Witch in Into the Woods, Jean Valjean in Les Misérables: School Edition, Judas Iscariot in Jesus Christ Superstar in Concert (Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE) and Eurydice in Hadestown (Ballyhoo Theatre). She is grateful for the endless support of her friends, family, and teachers and hopes you all enjoy the show!

ADDISON WORTHINGTON, she/her (Maria Romanov, Ensemble) is thrilled to be an ensemble member in her first Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE production. Addison has had a background in musical theater her whole life, taking classes and performing for Melody Lane Dance Academy's annual showcases. Her favorite credits include Aladdin in Disney’s Aladdin, and Woody in Disney’s Toy Story. She also participated in high school, performing as Bird Girl in Seussical the Musical. PORSCHA SHAW, she/they (Director) is a University of Washington MFA graduate thrilled to make her Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE and musical directing debut with Anastasia: The Musical — a childhood favorite and a dream come true. Credits include Gem of the Ocean (TheatreWorks Silicon Valley); Walden (ArtsWest); Richard III (Seattle Shakespeare Company); Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (The 5th Avenue Theatre).

AARON M. DAVIS NORMAN, (Music Director) is an educator-artist-activist originally from Compton, California. Aaron has performed across Europe, Canada, and the US and continues to fight for equitable theater programs for youth and diverse representation on stages and productions teams. Aaron is currently the Institute Manager, Everett at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE and teaching private voice.

NEHEMIAH HOOKS, he/they (Choreographer) is grateful to have taken his first journey with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE in helping to create Anastasia: The Musical. Behind the scenes he has been an Associate Choreographer for You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Village Theatre) and The Winter’s Tale (Seattle Rep). On stage, he has been seen at Village Theatre in Hello, Dolly!, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Jersey Boys and MISS STEP. Thank you for supporting youth in live theater at KIDSTAGE.

JEREMY HOLLIS, he/him (Scenic Designer) is excited to be working again with Village Theatre's KIDSTAGE. AHREN BUHMANN, (Lighting and Projections Designer) is a Lighting and Video designer based in Seattle. MYA G. WOODS, they/she (Sound Designer) is a Seattle-based actor, sound designer, and engineer. They are ecstatic to be working with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE for the first time! Other sound credits include work with Tacoma Community College, ArtsWest, and Taproot Theatre Company. When not working, she can be found writing sketch comedy, playing the bass, stressing over the NYT Games, or studying French. Bon spectacle et amusez-vous bien!!

LIZ HASTINGS, (Props Coordinator) was raised in Mukilteo, WA before spending over a decade doing theatrical prop carpentry, furniture restoration, and luxury TTRPG accessory production across the country (credits include: Stages St. Louis, Barter Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, and MIT). They hold a BA in theatre from Western Washington University and an MFA in production technology: props from Ohio University.

ASHLYN GALLINGER, she/her (Stage Manager) is so excited to be back with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE after being a stage management apprentice on the show School of Rock! She recently graduated from Cornish College of the Arts at Seattle University where she stage-managed shows such as Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and The Winter’s Tale, and was assistant stage manager for Gypsy and Amelie. She has also frequently done productions at Shoreline Community College and previously worked as a photographer at Walt Disney World.

SIMON SMITH, he/him (Assistant Stage Manager) is so grateful to be back at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE for another summer production. He previously stage-managed for KIDSTAGE's 2025 Summer Independent Production Chicago: Teen Edition at the Cope Gillette Theatre. Simon is currently pursuing a degree in theater, with an emphasis on production. He particularly loves stage management and is excited to work alongside familiar and new faces to bring to life the story of Anastasia.

TERRENCE MCNALLY, (Book) was an American playwright, librettist and LGBTQ+ trailblazer, described by the New York Times as “the bard of the American Theater.” One of the few playwrights of his generation to successfully pass from the avant-garde to mainstream acclaim, Terrence redefined American playwriting for six decades and was the recipient of five Tony Awards (two for his plays Love! Valour! Compassion! and Master Class, two for the books to his musicals Kiss of the Spider Woman and Ragtime, and the 2019 Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement). Terrence received many honors throughout his life, including the Dramatists Guild Lifetime Achievement Award (where he was Vice President from 1981 to 2001), the Lucille Lortel Lifetime Achievement Award, and inductions into the American Theater Hall of Fame in 1996 and the American Academy of Arts and Letters in 2018. His incredible legacy lives on in his plays, musicals and operas that continue to be performed all over the world, as well as in his papers, which are kept and open to the public at the Harry Ransom Center in the University of Texas at Austin.

LYNN AHRENS, (Lyrics) and STEPHEN FLAHERTY, (Music) have been collaborators since 1983, creating an array of notable Broadway and off-Broadway musicals, including Ragtime, Once On This Island, Seussical, Rocky, My Favorite Year, A Man of No Importance and the animated feature film Anastasia. In 2017, they brought Anastasia to Broadway, making it their third musical collaboration with Terrence McNally. They’ve won the Tony Award, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and the Olivier, and have been nominated for two Academy Awards, two Golden Globes and four Grammys. They serve on the Council for the Dramatists Guild of America and co-founded the DGF Fellows Program for Emerging Writers, which has nurtured new generations of playwrights and musical theatre writers since 2000. In 2014 they received the Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement, and in 2015 they were inducted into the Theater Hall of Fame.

Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE Technical Theater Program (TTP) provides hands-on experimental learning mentored by professionals in a wide variety of theater disciplines. TTP opportunities allow students to learn theater industry vocational skills such as direction, design, technical theater, and management. About KIDSTAGE SummerStock Program

SummerStock brings together passionate young performers, grades 5-age 20, to star in a professionally directed and designed musical on the Village Theatre Mainstage. With a live orchestra, stunning production elements, and hands-on technical theater opportunities, it’s the ultimate summer experience for aspiring theater artists.
