RIA AGRAWAL, she/her (Tommy Boy, Newsies Ensemble) is so excited to be in Disney’s Newsies JR.! Favorite credits include A Wrinkle in Time (Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE), Romeo & Juliet (Theater Battery), and Shadows Under the Market (Seattle Public Theater). She’d like to give a special thanks to all of her Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE friends, and her wonderful parents!
JACOB BAKER, he/him (Oscar Delancey, Pat, Adult Ensemble) is thrilled to return to the stage after appearing in Les Misérables: School Edition at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE. Previous featured roles include Flounder in Disney's The Little Mermaid and Young Kristoff in Disney's Frozen. He is grateful for the training, mentorship and opportunities he has received through KIDSTAGE, the friendships formed with young artists across the region, and the constant love and support of his family.
OLIVIA BRAMBILLA, she/her (Bunsen, Roosevelt, Adult Ensemble, u/s Mr. Pulitzer) is super excited to be a part of Disney’s Newsies JR. at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE. She is very active in the drama program at her school. Olivia loves seeing new shows at different places to learn more about the theater world and she is so grateful to have the opportunity to experience so many different theater environments.
AIDAN BRUCE, he/him (Albert, Newsies Ensemble) is excited to make his debut at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE as a Newsie! He is passionate about acting, singing and dance, and has been performing since he was four. His most recent roles include Tiny Tim, Charles Cratchit, and Young Scrooge in A Christmas Carol (ACT Theatre), and Bustopher Jones in Cats. AMBER CASTILLO, she/her (Hazel, Newsies Ensemble) is thrilled to be making her Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE debut in Disney’s Newsies JR.! Her past favorite credits include Matilda in Matilda JR., Mal in Disney’s Descendants, and Sky in Beetlejuice JR. She loves playing soccer, singing, and everything to do with musicals. DANIEL CHEN, he/him (Race, Newsies Ensemble, u/s Davey) is excited to be in his second performance at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE! Previous credits at KIDSTAGE include Ancestor in The Addams Family Young@Part. Other credits include Nigel in Matilda the Musical (At the Ridge Theatre), Eddie in 13 The Musical (Studio East), and Pig Pen in an extended cast version of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Stagedoor Manor).
CONNOR DULDULAO, he/him (Specs, Newsies Ensemble) is excited to be part of Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE production of Disney’s Newsies JR.! Connor is having a blast training through Village Theatre Institute program, and enjoys musical theater and tap dance classes at Redmond Academy of Theatre Arts. Recent credits include Donkey in Shrek the Musical JR., John Darling in Peter Pan (Redmond Academy of Theatre Arts), and Charlie Bucket in Willy Wonka JR. at his school. When not onstage, Connor enjoys soccer, video games, and baking with family.
KARYS FAN, she/her (Customer 1, Patron, Scab, Working Child, Adult Ensemble) is thrilled to be performing in her debut with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE. She has previously appeared as Donkey in Shrek the Musical JR., Annie in Annie JR., Peter Pan in Disney’s Peter Pan JR., Juno in Beetlejuice JR., Veruca in Willy Wonka JR., Jojo in Seussical the Musical JR., and Nigel in Matilda the Musical. ESTELLA KNUTZEN, she/they (Morris Delancey, Adult Ensemble) is so excited to be part of her first Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE production! She is currently in her second year of Village Theatre Institute and has done classes and camps at KIDSTAGE since 2018. She also has been up in the booth at her school's production of Anastasia: Youth Edition and Disney’s Newsies JR. Outside of theater, she enjoys reading or playing her trumpet. MADDIE MCCRERY, she/her (Medda Larkin) is so excited to be in her first ever Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE production! She is currently a student in Village Theatre Institute. RACHEL PACKER, she/her (Woman, Patron, Scab, Working Child, Adult Ensemble) has performed in multiple productions through Kettleworks Performing Arts and is thrilled to be performing for the first time with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE Some of her favorite roles have included Maui in Disney’s Moana JR. and Mayzie La Bird in Seussical the Musical JR. ELLIOT PARK, he/him (Davey) is a student of Village Theatre Institute and has done many shows at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE. He most recently played Evan in Studio East's production of 13: The Musical. He likes writings songs under the artist name Eddition, and he hopes you'll give it a listen! LUCIA PREVITI, she/her (Darcy, Working Child, Adult Ensemble) is a student in Village Theatre Institute and is thrilled to be making her Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE debut! She enjoys writing and singing in choir. Past performances include the Solo and Ensemble Festival and Eastshore Honor Choir. Past credits: Ensemble and u/s Dolokhov in Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812, Calvin in A Wrinkle in Time, Bubbles in Disney’s Finding Nemo JR., Ensemble and u/s Wednesday in The Addams Family Young@Part (Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE) and Tilly in She Kills Monsters (Studio East). VIOLET REED, she/her (Pigtails, Newsies Ensemble) cannot wait to Seize the Day with this incredible cast of Disney’s Newsies JR.! This is Violet's second production at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE, having last appeared in the role of Ensemble and u/s Charles Wallace in KIDSTAGE's production of A Wrinkle in Time. She'd like to thank her family for their endless love and support, especially her sisters Alice and Clara - I love you, FOR SURE.
LUKE REYNOLDS, he/him (Jack Kelly). This is Luke's debut with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE. Luke has previously done several shows with AppleTree Productions in Olympia including: The Outsiders, Disney’s The Lion King, Matilda the Musical, Little Shop of Horrors, and Godspell. Luke also enjoys playing jazz music and playing with his band. He would like to thank his mom for supporting him and also for being goated.
LOGAN RHEE, he/him (Muriel, Newsies Ensemble, u/s Jack) is thrilled to make his Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE debut! Recent roles include: Chip in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Spotlight Repertory NW) and Jean-Michel in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Studio East). Other credits: Emmett in Legally Blonde: The Musical, u/s Orin Scrivello in Little Shop of Horrors, and Orpheus in Hadestown: Teen Edition. WESLEY SCHREIBER, he/him (Snyder, Adult Ensemble) is thrilled to be a part of his first Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE production! When he’s not performing on stage, he enjoys singing in his school choir, attending Village Theatre Institute classes, and teasing his big brothers. This is his second time performing in Disney’s Newsies JR., previously seen in the role of Race. He would like to thank his mom for introducing him to theater and his brother, Alden, whose shoes he hopes to fill.
CARTER SHIFLETT, he/him (Wiesel, Bill, Police, Adult Ensemble) is so excited to be in one of his favorite shows, Disney’s Newsies JR.! As an avid performer you may have seen Carter in A Wrinkle in Time (Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE) last spring, as well as in Mean Girls at his high school. MARIAH SHRINER, she/her (Romeo, Olive, Newsies Ensemble) is excited to be returning to the stage with Village Theatre's KIDSTAGE. Some favorite roles include Mrs. Who in A Wrinkle in Time (KIDSTAGE), Little Ti Moune in Once on This Island (Village Theatre), Annie in Annie (Renton Civic Theatre), and Mal in Disney’s Descendants (Youth Theatre Northwest). ADDY SHULTZ, she/her (Ada, Dorothy, Scab, Adult Ensemble, u/s Katherine) is excited to take the stage in Disney’s Newsies JR., marking her 15th production and her first show with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE. Her favorite roles include Anne Shirley in Anne of Green Gables: The Musical, Annie Bennett in Annie, Miss Hannigan in Annie JR., and Bird Girl in Seussical the Musical. MAEBRY SMITH-PAUL, she/her (Hannah, Police Chief, Adult Ensemble) is overjoyed to be back at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE for her sixth show with this program! You might have recently seen her as Ensemble and u/s Prince Bolkonsky in Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812, or maybe as Mordcha and Swing in Fiddler on the Roof (KIDSTAGE). CONOR SULLIVAN, he/him (Crutchie) is excited to make his Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE debut. Recent roles include; Michael Hobbs in Elf The Musical (The 5th Avenue Theatre), Bruce Bogtrotter in Matilda JR. (Applause Players), and Flounder in Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR. IZZY URBANO, she/her (Katherine Plumber) is thrilled to be back on stage at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE! Notable credits: Les Misérables: School Edition, A Wrinkle in Time, The Prom (KIDSTAGE); Next to Normal (Everrise Theatre); Anything Goes, Six (Redmond Academy of Theatre Arts). She’s a fourth-year member of Village Theatre Institute. A native Houstonian, Izzy is happy to have a great community of mentors in Washington. CHARLIE JOHNSON, (Director). Regional credits: Union Arts Center, Arrow Rock Lyceum, Asolo Repertory Theatre, Barnstormer’s Theatre, Bay Street Theater, Flat Rock Playhouse, Maltz Jupiter Theatre, North Carolina Theater, Paper Mill Playhouse, Seattle Shakespeare Company, Seattle Rep, Taproot Theatre, Village Theatre, and The 5th Avenue Theatre. He has developed new musicals with The Rev Theater Company, New York Theater Barn, The Dramatists’ Guild, and Musical Theater Factory, and has assisted Tony-winner Michael Arden, Adam Immerwahr, and Denis Jones. RHYONNA ROSALES, (Music Director) is thrilled to be a part of this production! Previous Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE productions include: The Spitfire Grill, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Holiday Cabaret. A graduate of Pacific Lutheran University’s music education program, Rhyonna currently works in Tacoma Public Schools as an adjunct artist at Tacoma School of the Arts (SOTA), collaborative pianist, and substitute teacher. She additionally teaches music at Village Theatre Institute in Issaquah. Lots of love to family and friends.
SADE ASET, (Choreographer, Associate Director) is a choreographer, director and free-time astrologer in Seattle. She graduated with a BFA in acting/directing and minors in dance and French at Pacific Lutheran University. She is grateful to be working with a collaborative, inspiring team. JEREMY HOLLIS, he/him (Scenic Designer) is excited to work with Village Theatre's KIDSTAGE. CADEN GREEN, he/they (Costume Designer) is thrilled to be back for another Village Theatre's KIDSTAGE show! He is a recent graduate of Cornish College of the Arts with a BFA in costume design. Previously, he has designed for Les Miserables: School Edition, A Wrinkle In Time, and Fiddler on the Roof with KIDSTAGE. He has also recently designed costumes for The Wave (and what came after) at ACT's Youth Core Program and Shadows Under the Market at Seattle Public Theatre.
ANNIE LIU, they/them (Lighting Designer) is a lighting designer, producing director at The Feast, and holds a BFA in theater design and an MFA in arts leadership. Annie has worked across the country, with some highlights including the world premiere of miku, and the gods (ArtsWest), the world premiere of BKBX Kids! Asks Why (Seattle Children’s Theatre) and 14 Street Y (NYC), as well as Fun Home, Cabaret, and The Rocky Horror Show (Santa Fe Playhouse).
EVAN MOSHER, he/him (Sound Designer) is an audio engineer, sound designer, and musician who's thrilled to be back with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE. Previously with KIDSTAGE: Legally Blonde: The Musical, Mean Girls: High School Edition, Les Misérables: School Edition. He has frequently worked with Union Arts Center, Seattle Children's Theatre, Seattle Public Theater, ArtsWest, Book-it Repertory, Washington Ensemble Theatre, Whitman College Theatre, On the Boards, and Cafe Nordo. He is a founding member of the art-pop band “Awesome,” with whom he’s crafted melodic noise and peculiar performances since 2004.
INDIRA RAMPERSAD, (Properties Coordinator) is a multidisciplinary theater artist/educator based in Seattle. This is her seventh show with Village Theatre's KIDSTAGE! In addition to her freelance work, she serves as the Education Coordinator and Season Assistant Stage Manager (ASM) at Seattle Public Theater. Recent credits include 14/48 (Writer), Stage of Fools (ASM) and Youth Voices (Writing Mentor) at Seattle Public Theater. She thanks her family, friends, and the wonderful cast/crew!
EMILY DOORENBOS, they/she (Stage Manager) is excited to work again with Village Theatre's KIDSTAGE. They have been involved in many productions and theater companies including While They Last (KIDSTAGE), Sense and Sensibility (Village Theatre), Christmastown (Seattle Public Theater), Dream Hou$e (Washington Ensemble Theatre) and The Veil (Dacha). MICHAEL OLSON, he/him (Assistant Stage Manager) is thrilled to be back with Village Theatre's KIDSTAGE after serving as Stage Manager for Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 in Concert and as Assistant Stage Manager for Les Misérables: School Edition. Past credits include Assistant Stage Manager in Hadestown and Disney’s The Little Mermaid (Tahoma Drama Club), and running crew for Mean Girls and Disney’s Frozen. Village Theatre’s Technical Theater Program
Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE Technical Theater Program (TTP) provides hands-on experimental learning mentored by professionals in a wide variety of theater disciplines. TTP opportunities allow students to learn theater industry vocational skills such as direction, design, technical theater, and management. Special thanks to our TTP students who worked beside our professionals.
