Your Halloween weekend plans
The Puget Sound’s weekly roundup of arts, culture, and community | October 30 to November 5, 2026
Hans Zimmer’s haunting score will accompany a showing of The Ring at Seattle Symphony this evening. As if Samara crawling out of a television isn’t creepy enough, the live orchestration is sure to send chills up your spine. Start the Halloween weekend with something a little different.
Take a character based on Amelia Earhart, add some blood spatter, and tie it all together with a demon. This will give you a very basic idea of what to expect from Not Man Apart’s Queen of the Sky: A Demon Ballet. Immersive theatre, dance, and acrobatics combine to create something completely new in this experience that is perfect for Halloween. If you’re looking for even more, tomorrow night you can join a Halloween after party.
Are your kids too old for trick or treating, but too young for the parties across the city? Take them to a show instead. Studio East is staging an adaptation of Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein. Absolutely funny, truly classic, it’s a perfect Halloween night out. — Ciara
