Jason Seber is known for his versatility leading classical, pops, film, and cross-genre programs. He is committed to making orchestral music accessible, relevant, and engaging for diverse audiences. He served as associate conductor of the Kansas City Symphony from 2016–22 and was previously the education and outreach conductor of the Louisville Orchestra and music director of the Louisville Youth Orchestra.

Seber has conducted many leading American orchestras, including the Boston Pops, Minnesota Orchestra, St. Louis Symphony, National Symphony, Houston Symphony, Dallas Symphony, San Diego Symphony, Detroit Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, Kansas City Symphony, Colorado Symphony, Milwaukee Symphony, Utah Symphony, Nashville Symphony, Indianapolis Symphony, Oregon Symphony, North Carolina Symphony, Phoenix Symphony, Cincinnati Pops, Louisville Orchestra, and Buffalo Philharmonic, among others. He makes his San Francisco Symphony debut with this appearance.

He has conducted more than 30 full feature films and has collaborated with a wide range of artists including Boyz II Men, Melissa Etheridge, Leslie Odom Jr., Trisha Yearwood, Lyle Lovett, Stephen Schwartz, Indigo Girls, Ben Folds, Wynonna Judd, Lindsey Stirling, Violent Femmes, Pink Martini, Natalie Merchant, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Katharine McPhee, Brian Stokes Mitchell, My Morning Jacket, Andrew Bird, Ben Rector, Cody Fry, Patti Austin, Mason Bates, Doc Severinsen, Aoife O’Donovan, Ashley Brown, Susan Egan, and DeVotchKa, among many others.
